Description
This course is designed to give the student an opportunity to integrate the knowledge, skills and tools of managing/leading an operational activity. The student demonstrates the ability to identify a current operation's plan or activity, and develops a project plan utilizing the theory and practice that have been developed in the operation management track courses to improve or change the marketing activity. The student is required to utilize systems thinking and creative learning approaches to develop a plan that would define measurable and value-added outcomes for the organization. The course emphasizes soliciting peer review and feedback, teamwork, open discussion and critique, and the ability to produce and present to review a plan within a structured time frame.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will:
- Apply principles learned from the studies pursued in the MSEM Program
- Identify and define problem and questions of current and practical significance to some facet of managing a business or organization
- Do meaningful, credible, quality research related to the question
- Organize, analyze, determine root cause(s), evaluate and select meaningful, practical solutions
- Develop a practical and meaningful plan for implementation and application of the recommended solutions.
